Art Magnets
So I was looking for some quick "counter" items for my little jewelry set up I have at my dear friends Deli in downtown Jacksonville. It is a building full of offices who travel all the way to the first floor for some delicious food and awesome latte's. While browsing they stop and look in my case for some "retail therapy" only to find that perfect necklace or bracelet. Some may pop on down for a last minute thank you gift or boss's gift. As the holidays approach us and money is tight - I decided to make a few small magnets using my artwork. Always having the love for office supplies I thought "why not?"... These could be fun! After creating them I became addicted - not one of them are the same and fun to collect. They make awesome little gifts that I plan on placing at the counter along with some other "grab bags". I decided to include some pictures of how they started and the things I used to make them original pieces of art! I hope you enjoy and any of my Aetna Building friends, you will enjoy going through the collection and I hope you find a few that fit your holiday shopping needs!
1) Here are the business cards that I used to create an entire gelli page.

2) After I gelli print on the page use pencils and stamps, etc to embellish them once you have done this step then you can separate them which are neatly perforated.
3) here is a close up of all the cards
4) These are the pack of magnets that are so easy - just simply peel and stick and you have a fine magnet of artwork ready to give as gifts, sell them on your website, trade them or even give to friends as a thank you gesture.
5) the final product :-) here are two magnets finished and ready to make someone's office or day brighter.
Thanks for joining me hope you enjoyed the tutorial - Happy Saturday!!
